$NUTSY: A little nuts. A lot of fun.

Whitepaper v0.1 · October 2026. Chain: Solana mainnet. Ticker: NUTSY. Socials: @nutsy_lol.

Small acorn. Big plans. Honest scoreboard.

In short

Nutsy is a meme project on Solana with an original acorn character and three things that work today: Nut Catch, a 45-second reflex game; Nut Lab, a meme maker that runs in the browser; and the Nutboard, a leaderboard where every posted score is replayed by the server before it counts. $NUTSY is the meme token around it. Token-based features are planned and labelled that way. There are no prizes, wagers or token rewards anywhere.

1. The idea

Most meme tokens give people a picture and a chart. We wanted the opposite order: something to do first, and a token that sits next to it. A short game you can play on a phone in a queue, a tool that turns a joke into an image in seconds, and a board where a high score means a good run rather than a clever script.

Nothing here needs a purchase. That is deliberate: the site should be worth a visit even for people who never touch the token.

2. The character

The acorn was drawn for this project: a round cap with a crosshatch pattern, a short stem, a warm brown body and a face that can switch between six moods. The same drawing code renders the hero image, the game sprites, the example memes and everything in Nut Lab, so the character always looks the same wherever it shows up.

3. How it fits together

  1. You play Nut Catch in the browser. Without a wallet, the round is practice and stays on your device.
  2. With a wallet connected, the server first deals you a ticket: a random seed tied to your address and the time.
  3. The game records each basket move as a pair of numbers: the tick and the target position.
  4. After the round you sign a plain message that names the score and a hash of the run. No transaction, no fee.
  5. The server checks the signature, replays the run from the seed and the log, and only then places the score.

4. Nut Catch rules

Round45 seconds at 60 ticks per second, or until 3 pinecones are caught
Falling mix68% acorns, 7% golden acorns, 25% pinecones
Pointsacorn 1, golden acorn 5, times the streak multiplier
Streakevery ten catches in a row add one to the multiplier, up to ×3; a missed acorn or a pinecone resets it
Paceitems fall a little faster and more often every five seconds

Badges are earned per run:

  • First Basket: Catch at least one acorn in a round.
  • Golden Touch: Catch a golden acorn.
  • Streak 25: Catch 25 acorns in a row without missing one or touching a pinecone.
  • Full Round: Keep at least one life until the 45 seconds run out.
  • Clean Paws: Finish a full round without touching a single pinecone.
  • Big Basket: Score 150 points or more in one round.

Badges are labels. They are not tokens, not NFTs and not redeemable for anything.

5. Nutboard checks

5.1 Tickets

A ticket holds a random seed, the time it was issued and a keyed hash over both plus your wallet address. The server does not need to remember tickets: it can recompute the hash later. A ticket is valid for 20 minutes, can be posted only by the wallet it was issued to, and is marked as spent the first time it is used.

5.2 Replay

The game engine is deterministic and shared by the browser and the server. Given the seed and the log, it produces exactly one result. The server refuses a run when the replay gives a different score, when the log is malformed, when the run is shorter than 5 seconds, or when it claims more playing time than has passed since its ticket was issued. Badges are worked out again on the server from the replay.

5.3 Limits

A wallet needs at least 0.01 SOL to sign a post (read live, nothing spent). Daily caps apply per network, per wallet (60 scores) and for the whole site. The board keeps the best run of each wallet, up to 100 wallets, and entries expire after 30 days without a new post.

What the checks cannot do: prove that a human played. A bot that plays well through the real game can still post. The board is friendly competition, and nothing of value rides on it.

6. Nut Lab

Nut Lab composes a meme on a canvas in your browser: one of six scenes, one of six faces, an outfit, up to four stickers and a caption at the top or bottom. You can download a PNG or JPG and share a link that carries the settings (not the image). Nothing is uploaded. A moderated community gallery with wallet-signed publishing is planned, not live.

7. Token

$NUTSY is a meme token on Solana, launched through pump.fun. Its contract address is published on this site and on @nutsy_lol at launch. Until then, any token using the name is not this one.

This paper describes no yield, no buyback and no revenue share, because none of them exists. Holding the token unlocks nothing on the site today.

8. Planned utility

These are ideas the project is working toward. None of them is live, and none is decided in its details:

  • Character cosmetics: extra outfits and faces for Nut Lab and profiles.
  • Basket skins for Nut Catch, purely visual, with no effect on scoring.
  • Premium Nut Lab templates.
  • Profile personalisation on the Nutboard.
  • A moderated community meme gallery.

Each one will be described on this site before it ships, including what it costs and what it does not do. A cosmetic will never change how a run is scored.

9. What you actually get

  • A free game and a free meme tool, with or without the token.
  • A public board where scores are checked against the rules.
  • An open codebase (link added when the repository is published).
  • A meme token with no intrinsic value whose price may drop to nothing.

10. Roadmap (short)

  1. Now: Nut Catch, Nut Lab, Nutboard, player cards.
  2. Next: publish the code, more scenes and stickers, seasonal board resets.
  3. Later, if holders ask for it: the gallery and the cosmetic ideas from section 8.
